3. To hearten the disabled and help them feel the right of being specially abled. Kalyandham was established in
the sacred city of Mathura, UP in the year 1991, in pretext of arranging and distributing prosthetic leg and calipers.
4. Under the auspices of Kalyanam Karoti, Cantonment Eye hospital in Meerut, UP was established on
13th October, 1994. The sacred presence of His Holiness Dalai Lama to inaugurate the hospital was propitious.

6. Kalyanam Karoti collaborated with Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Delhi and Impact India, Mumbai to organize a
comprehensive ophthalmic camp in the year 1995 – 96. Using contemporary resources 468 ophthalmic surgeries,
151 surgeries for polio affected children and 45 surgeries for hearing impaired was completed successfully
in a train (life line express) which popularly known as hospital on wheels.
7. During 1999 – 2000, due to limited resources Kalyanam Karoti donated Rs 30,000 to Chief Minister’s Fund to
offer a token of gratitude towards the families of martyrs of Kargil war.
8. Kalyanam Karoti and some other associates helped in donating Rs. 22,000 to different institutions in order to extend
a helping hand for famine struck areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan.

10. Kalyanam Karoti and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India joined hands in a program organized
in the sanctified city of Triyambakeshwar, Nashik on 24th May, 2015 in the presence of honorable central minister
Shri Thawar Chandra Gehlot. At this time, an expense of Rs. 3,49,75,000 was used for the distribution of aiding
equipments (Tricycle – 1573, wheelchair – 426, crutches - 1120, walking stick – 889, caliper – 308, hearing aid
– 1674, blind stick – 253, C P chair – 07, motor tricycle – 10, and MSID kits – 800) to benefit 4446 disabled people.

12. Param Pujya Shri Nritya Gopal Das ji enthused Kalyanam Karoti to the establishment of ‘Shri Deenbandhu Netra Chikitsalay’
an eye hospital in the consecrated city of Ayodhya, UP in 2005.
13. Shri Deenbandhu Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centre was inaugurated by Shri Ram Naik, Honorable Governor,
UP on 10th June, 2016 as an extension to the services rendered by Kalyanam Karoti within the premises of ‘Shri
Deenbandhu Netra Chikitsalay’.
14. A mobile medical unit of ‘Shri Deenbandhu Netra Chikitsalay’ was arranged in the year 2004, with the help
of financial aid given by Shri Beriwala Sewa Trust, Kolkata. This unit travelled in the nearby areas or villages
of Ayodhya and provided ophthalmic medical checkups and surgeries.
15. In the reminiscence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, 23rd January, 1999. Kalyanam
Karoti organized its first disabled service camp which continued as a ritual every year. Since 1999 - 2020, 4612
disabled people have been registered and 3829 disabled people have been helped (tricycle - 1763, wheelchair - 207, crutches
- 793, walking stick - 166 and sewing machine for women - 900).
16. Kalyanam Karoti established a Smriti Fund in the year 2005, where people donated in remembrance of their relatives,
and the amount collected was used for ophthalmic surgeries.
17. Kalyanam Karoti donated Rs. 1,01,000 to Patanjali Disaster Relief Fund for the aid of earthquake victims in Nepal in 2015 – 16.
18. In order to extend a helping hand to the flood victims of Kerala in 2019, Kalyanam Karoti donated Rs. 1,01,000 to
Mata Amritanandmayi Mission Trust, Amritpuri, Kollam, Kerala.
19. A solar energy plant of 50KV was installed at Shri Deenbandhu Netra Chikitsalay on 15th June 2019 as an attribution
of reverence towards Param Pujya Shri Nritya Gopal Das ji on his 81st birth anniversary. The inaugural ceremony got
accomplished in the presence of eminent dignitaries, Dr Krishna Gopal ji (Chief-Guest), Mahant Shri Kamalnayandas ji and others.
20. Recently, Sadgati, another unit of Kalyanam Karoti was constituted in October, 2019. This unit helped to perform
the last rites of indigent and deserted individuals.
21. A bonfire is arranged every cold winter nights for destitute.
